Volunteer Photos
We have volunteers from all over the world who come and help out at the sanctuary. If you want to get up close and personal with the birds and wildlife from South Africa (and beyond) and don't mind getting your hands dirty then African Dawn is the place to be!
Our volunteers stay from as little as 2 weeks to several months, sometimes even a year! Accommodation is on site and meals are included.
We are less than half an hour from Jeffreys Bay, a beautiful surfing town, where days off can be spent lazing on the beach or taking a ride along the white sands. There are numerous activities in the surrounding area and we can help organise your days off so you get to experience all South Africa has to offer.
